How is your school in terms of LGBTQ+?
They’re good. They make sure that whoever you are, you always feel comfortable at school and they always talk about identification and how it’s OK if you’re confused or not. They’re always very open about it.
I think they’re quite good at it, but I don’t know if people there who class themselves as LGBTQ+ would feel the same, because obviously I don’t need to worry about anything like that, but obviously some people might and if they did and they wanted to speak to the school about it, the school’s good to speak to, but they won’t really solve any of the issues that they’re having.
If you didn’t want them to tell your parents but then you went into them and obviously you were worrying about it they would still tell your parents, which I don’t think is very beneficial.
If people were saying stuff about it at school, you couldn’t really go to them, because all they’d really do is have an assembly saying that it’s not right, but they wouldn’t actually do something.
