I would call myself a cis-gay man.
Increasingly, I’m getting kind of annoyed at the way that being a gay man is kind of seen as the most culturally valid form of being queer.
As much as I define myself as that, I’m kind of using that word to remind myself that I have it a lot better than a lot of other people and that I want to use that word, but also identify as queer and think as much as possible of being part of a broader more inclusive community.
