In Brighton, I think sexuality wise, it’s a lot more accepting and some people have more of an understanding of the gender side of things. So I’m not having to explain pronouns and things to everybody, they already know a little bit.
But then when I go back home, I have to bring up the topics myself and explain to everyone and then they still might not quite get it, or understand, or know that if I’m changing my pronouns I’d quite like you to use them every time, not just some of the time.
