“I was told by someone, well actually by a few people, that I am the most gay person they know”

Transcript

I identify, I guess, Trans-masculine non-binary are the words I usually use, but it’s kind of fluid.

I was told by someone, well actually by a few people, that I’m the most gay person they know and I’m the most visibly queer person. I find that really interesting that when I’m in queer settings, I’m a very queer person.

But recently I was in The Towner Gallery in Eastbourne and this woman walked up to me and I was wearing a paisley shirt and a bow tie. Instead of presuming I was really queer, she presumed I was an art student and I think that’s really interesting, in the way that how I present can be perceived differently in different contexts by different people.
