I’ve had quite a lot of hate. My grandma is really religious and then she made me have an exorcism, because she was ‘I want to free you from the devil that’s inside you. It’s making you do all this profanity’ and stuff like that. I wasn’t allowed to get changed in my girl’s changing room

They were, ‘Now that we know that you actually are Bi, you can’t be in there with the girls. If I wanted to go to the toilet, they had to radio everybody to get everybody out of one toilet, just so I could go into a block of toilets.
It was the same with me in High School. I wasn’t allowed to be in the girls’ changing rooms. I had to get dressed in the disabled toilets. I used to have to go in the disabled toilets at school, just because I was openly gay and they were like ‘Girls feel uncomfortable’. Well that’s not my problem.
