I’m from Desborough, which is in Northamptonshire.
And I’m from Rugby, which is in Warwickshire. I’ve always wanted to come to Brighton Pride. Always. I’ve seen pictures of it and just wanted to go.
You can just be who you want to be and it’s just like “cool, go with it”.
In everyday life you don’t see people with massive rainbow flags. You don’t see obvious gay people and you don’t know what they’re going through. I think it’s good that the whole community comes together. I feel super gay, but I like it.
I feel gayer at Pride. Coming to Pride…. well, I wear black normally and normally I’m covered in black and I never have colours. Now I’ve got a rainbow flag and face-paint.
